Fishing trip - Suldalslågen - Week 31 - Sørestad

All salmon fly fishermen are welcome - regardless of whether you are a beginner or have experience in salmon fishing. If you need instruction, that will also be possible. There will be an introductory guide to the fishing grounds on the first day. During the week, there will also be advice on fishing strategy and tactics depending on the conditions on the river. Focus on the fishing grounds - you learn how to read the fishing waters.

The tours with ASFF are self-drive tours, which is why you need your own car or a seat in another car.
Meals and drinks are your own responsibility. There is of course a fully equipped kitchen in all houses, as well as a chest freezer.

Sørestad is the second beat from the top on the magnificent river Suldal and is just under 2 km long. Fantastic and very varied fly water. Sørestad has several gapahugs with everything you need, coffee, trangia, nets, etc. Here the river runs relatively calmly and fine grass edges reach all the way to the gin-clear water in several places.

The fishing is easily accessible and you can drive along the river from top to bottom of the embankment. We have the right to fish on the left side of the river (cast over the right shoulder) which means we will see other fishermen on the other side of the river, but it has not caused problems in the past and until now it has only been fly fishermen.

We start fishing on Sunday at 6pm and end on Wednesday at 4pm.

The beat is fished exclusively with fly throughout the season and a maximum of 4 fishermen at a time. A gem that absolutely must be experienced.
